Platinum, Rose

An extremely fine, extremely rare, unusual and exquisite manual winding wristwatch in platinum and rose gold with a three-colour dial and T-shaped lugs.

The accompanying Patek Philippe extract from the archives confirms that the present watch was manufactured in 1930 and sold on May 22, 1936. To our knowledge, only nine other examples of ref.453 are known to exist. The earliest of these watches features a monochrome dial and, according to its extract, dates from 1928. Reference 453 appears to have been produced only for a limited period and in very small numbers. The rarity of the present example is further heightened by the high-value platinum case and the exceptional three-colour dial.
