A very rare and very fine stainless steel manual winding wristwatch ref.96 with "HL" indexes.
With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of this watch with applied white gold lapped hour markers in 1950 and its subsequent sale on February 26th, 1951.

Ref.96 steel was manufactured from 1932 until the mid-1950s, but the number produced became extremely small in the 1950s. Furthermore, all ref. 96 models manufactured up to around 1950 with a simple design feature flat indices and leaf hands. Therefore, this particular "HL" indice and dolphin hand design is extremely rare.
