Yellow, Antimagnetic, GÜBELIN

A fine and very rare 18k yellow gold manual-winding wristwatch ref.2570/1.
Following in the footsteps of antimagnetic reference 3417, which is regarded as the company's first antimagnetic wristwatch produced in series and was only available in stainless steel, the reference 2570/1 was introduced in 1958 and produced in yellow gold. Over the years, many antimagnetic watches have lost their inner soft-iron cap, which could resist magnetic fields up to 450 oersteds. It is, therefore, highly appealing for any collector to know that the watch is correct. Furthermore, the watch appears with an untouched dial.
The rarity of the watch is further enhanced by the retailer's signature to the dial, dedicated to Gübelin.
